Walworth Walks – Family Fitness Fundraiser
Saturday, September 18, 2010 – Big Foot High School Track
This year’s all-school fundraiser will be a community event promoting wellness and team spirit. We will be collecting pledge donations for a wellness walk this fall. Teams can be made up of families, friends, classmates or others from the community. Each team sets both a fitness and monetary goal and on September 18, it all comes together in a great event! Team t-shirt contests, poster contests, “wacky laps” and more to be announced. Start gathering your teammates, creating your wild t-shirts and getting ready for a fun walk event!
All proceeds will help fund our school field trips, playground renovations and other needs that Parents Club funds throughout the school year. We will need many volunteers as well as participants. We Need YOUR Help!
Ways to help our school be all it can be – We need volunteers to: Come to the meetings (Every 3rd Tues @7pm), help with the Directory, contribute to or volunteer to help coordinate Fundraising efforts, collect Box Tops for Education or help coordinate Box Top Contests, Coordinate Original Works artwork sales, assist with Staff Appreciation Week, Coordinate the Ice Cream Social, help set up and serve at Graduation, Call Volunteers for various events, Donate needed items to the school, donate your time or skills… we’re open to all your ideas!

Most of you signed up with your information at registration. Our apologies for not getting the information to you sooner. As you know, we are all busy parents and even the best intended projects need many hands. We are grateful for the volunteers who have played a part in entering, organizing and formatting this information and hope to have the process down to a science for the 2nd edition in 2010/2011. You should have an electronic copy of the directory at the email address you provided in the fall. If you did not provide an email, you can let us know where to send your electronic copy by calling Julie at 262-374-3744.
We hope that with this directory, Walworth School District families can become more connected and together we can accomplish more for our kids.

Meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Mezzanine area near the computer labs. Hope to see you there!

There are many ways you can contribute baking treats, to volunteering your time, to assist in planning events, decorating, monitoring during events, scooping ice cream at the Ice Cream Social as well as many more areas!
Parent's Club could not assist in all the areas they do without the dedication and service of parents. Volunteer Today!
